The 4×4 Braai is a portable braai that fits perfectly into a standard size ammo box and it is designed for 4×4 enthusiasts, camping-lovers, hunters, fishermen and other edventure seekers, who want a sturdy braai which you can setup in under one minute. The braai is extremely sturdy due to 2 wingnuts, which pull the whole unit into a solid braai, once the four side plates had been slid into each other and the firebox fitted. The unit is made from 2mm thick 3CR12 to ensure a robust braai that is also rust resistant. The braai surface-area is 400mm x 300mm. The unit can be purchased with a thick ultra high quality bag or it can be purchased without a bag to make even more economical, in case you want to put it in your own streepsak or another container when travelling. Flat enough to fit behind a bakkie’s seat, yet big enough to fit a Big Box grid or other standard size ‘toeklap roosters’ such as the Handsfree grid, or the U-Braai grid, also sold by us, with ease.
